There might have been a time when you would have just walked into a shop and picked the first shower curtain that you came across. That is because back then shower curtains were all about convenience more than anything else. Nowadays shower curtains serve other purposes besides keeping the floor dry.

Shower curtains are now classified as decorative items and are part of bathroom remodeling ideas. They are being sold in different designs and patterns. If you look at the style and kind you have many options to choose from. You can have plain colored curtains or ones with simple uniform patterns, to one with classic and artistic designs. To get a better understanding of what I’m saying you can check out: pink and brown shower curtain, red shower curtain, black white red shower curtain

Shower curtains also serve a hygienic purpose in relation to your bathroom. There are illnesses that tend to be water borne and having a moist wet environment will usually precipitate their occurrence. An example that I can quickly think of is athletes foot. This is a condition that affects the feet when they are exposed to too much water especially on bathroom floors.

A moist environment will encourage the growth of, moulds and fungi. A shower curtain makes looking after your bathroom a less strenuous task. Shower curtains are very easy to fit and install and so you can fit them yourself. You should be able to get a curtain complete with all the things that you require to be able to install the curtain.

There are a number of places that you can get shower curtains from. Check out the local shops and get to compare prices. If you really want to make sure you have seen everything that’s on offer then check the internet. It keeps you from visiting various shops and you can actually buy your curtain online.

My fiance and I decided that we are going to remodel the master bathroom (since I am pregnant, and we need to)… We are going to completely demo the old one.. tear down all tile, tear up all the floor, and re-work how the shower is.. and turn the existing shower into a walk-in closet (that has two doors, and the second door would lead straight to the baby’s room) and the area where the whirlpool tub is will become the shower area… We’re also going to have drywall hung, and a slew of other things happen, but we aren’t exactly sure what we want the end product to look like.. we want it to be functional (obviously) but we also want it to look pleasing to the eye..
Does anyone know names of bathroom remodeling magazines, websites, or books?? Any help would be much appreciated! We need to get this bathroom rolling already.. we have until September to finish! =)
Thank you all!
PS: I will NOT be participating in any of the demo, or re-build part of this project.. we decided to hire.

If you are interested in decorative mirrors to fit in your bathroom then you are in the right place. Online purchases are possible meaning you can buy a mirror without having to leave the house.

If you know what you are looking for you can shop around on the net and once you find it, you can place your order. This is where most people worry about losing money to unscrupulous sites, No. I’m referring to well established hardware stores that you probably are aware off as well and they just happen to have an online ordering facility.

Amongst some of the places where you will be able to find decorative bathroom mirrors include any of these: decorative wall mirrors, full length mirrors, full length mirrors

Back to the issue of your bathroom mirrors, basically the ideas are endless when you talk of bathroom mirrors. You can choose from traditional shapes with stylish finishes or you can opt to have architectural designs of your own. You have the option of going for a full length wall mirror or just a relatively large mirror.

Mirrors provide your bathroom a more comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and the larger the mirror the better the effect. All you need to know is how much you are willing to spend and consult on the available mirrors to fit your budget. You can actually have beautifully designed decorative mirrors that do not have a frame. Most people tend to associate the term decorative with frames which tend to push the price up a little bit.

You should be able to find an online dealer within your area. If you get one then you ask them to fit the mirror for you. Trust me you do not want to take chances when it comes to installing your mirror. It would be better to get someone who is skilled at it to fit the mirror than risk it breaking after a few days.
