The tile is on the floor and on half of the walls and on the shower…the tile is pink with white swirls in it. I am replacing the cabinets and coutertops and I don’t now what color to paint the walls. The pink is a real pink it is not light pink or dark just a standard pink.

I’d try to match the pink, then go for white textured shower curtain and white towels, etc.

since it is standard pink, you should paint the walls light pink

For a Modern look- I would go with a brown wall and then a beige wash overtop of it…..you could decorate with a “marble look” on a vase and toothbrush holder and things like that that have a very light pinkish hue to them! Also- in a 1-2 foot tall vase- use those “decorator branches” (I use long sticks from a tree) they are free!….Maybe some chocolate plush towels and a very natural cream colored plain shower curtain….Keep things simple and it will seem as if the pink is just a “accessory color” to set off the brown.
Be creative!!!

You want to have 3 colors in the room..so you have white, pink and now you need a color that compliments pink…I think the person with lime green was onto something..or maybe a light blue, or light brown with gold something like that. What color facet fixtures do you have?? If they are gold..then the gold might be good..or if they are silver..maybe a bit silver metalic in the walls.. Good luck.

I would look to use a darker paint.. Gives some nice accents.
