Bathroom Remodeling… Wallpaper And Cabinets?

I’m taking down the wallpaper in my bathroom but it goes behind a huge mirror glued to the wall. Is there anyway to get the mirror down or should I not worry about whats behind it?
Also, the cabinets are grey fermica (late 80s style)… is there anyway to remove the fermica (easily) or should I just replace the cabinets entirely?
ANY extra ideas or thoughts are entirely welcome! I’m a newbie at doing this!

The mirror will probably damage some of the wall behind it when you take it down. You can repair the wall. The formica is glued to the plywood to make the cabinets. You’ll have to replace them.

you don’t say how old your house is but you should take that into consideration…mine is 120 years and when i took down wallpaper twenty years ago the walls came with it….needless to say the project got a lot bigger as we redid all the walls and ceilings in the house all because of wallpaper.

well if the mirror is glued i wouldn’t touch it all ya need to do is run a utility knife around the edges of it and it will be fine as for the cabinets its glued down you could try getting it off but it might not turn out to well but if your on a budget id give it a try but for a fresh look i would go with new ones and if you really dont like the mirror glued to the wall you could try and get it off and if you wanna reuse it buy some mirror hangers they just screw in to the wall and clamp the mirror to the wall or you could just do away with and get a medicine cabinet
